Kenzie and Rob’s engagement session at Tulmeadow Farm in Simsbury, Connecticut was exactly the kind of session I love shooting—nothing overly staged, nothing forced, just the two of them hanging out, moving around the farm, and letting me photograph what was actually happening. We shot a mix of digital and 35mm color film, which felt right for this setting and gave the gallery a mix of crisp digital images and the softer imperfections of film, with colors that looked the way they did in person.
