Connecticut Wedding & Family Photographer

I shoot weddings and families as they are.

The moments everyone else misses, that’s what I’m looking for.

No performance.

No fluff. That’s it.

Film & digital photography

for weddings and families

Connecticut | NY | New England

Hey, I'm Nicole.

Based in Connecticut and photographing weddings throughout New England, I photograph weddings and families with a relaxed, documentary approach. I work with both digital and 35mm film, focusing on intentional imagery that feels honest and thoughtful. I believe great photographs don’t come from forcing moments — they come from paying attention.

Relaxed Approach.

Intentional Images.

Cinematic Feel.

Rooted In Film.

A couple embraces and laughs together against a bright blue sky on a sunny day.

Direction when you need it. Space when you don’t.

Not every moment needs direction — and not every moment should be left to chance.

I’m not working through a checklist of poses. I pay attention to light, movement, and timing — guiding when it helps and stepping back when it doesn’t.

You won’t feel over-posed, and you won’t be left wondering what to do.

Relaxed in feel.

Intentional in execution.

Two hands reaching towards each other against a blue sky, one giving middle finger as a joke. Hilarious photo. Not posed.

Images that feel natural, personal, and occasionally hilarious — because real life is.

Families. As they are.

I focus on what’s already there — not on creating something that isn’t.
Candid Portrait Taken in Trumbull Connecticut. Non Stiff portrait. Documentary Style. Natural Light. Image portrait of a child.

It isn’t always still or quiet — and it’s never picture-perfect in the traditional sense. Families move. They overlap. They interrupt each other. That’s exactly what I’m paying attention to.Those are the moments that last.

Kind Words

We consider ourselves so lucky to have Nicole capture our big day. She was extremely efficient and easy to work with. She was exceptional at making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed so we could have photos of our loved ones at their best and most relaxed. As a bride, it was nice to have somebody who felt like they were a part of the team and not just going through the motions of the same standard poses with my husband and our loved ones. Some of our favorite moments were the most unexpected ones where she captured candid photos of moments that we may have overlooked or missed in the action of the day. The number of moments that she was able to capture was fantastic and gave us so much variety. I couldn't be more grateful that she covered our big day.

I finally got to sit down and look at the pictures. Oh. My. God. They are amazing!!!  I love them so much. You have such talent. I don't know how you got so many amazing ones with everyone running around in separate directions. I am forever grateful for all these photos.
